This short course, Ready to Learn (R2L): Education for Positive Peace, is designed for teachers, head teachers and teacher trainers who work in the refugee camps in Rwanda. It contains units related to the Peace and Values Education cross-cutting issues in the Competence Based Curriculum (CBC) including practical teaching tools related to positive behaviour management, social and emotional learning (SEL) skills, growth mindset, critical thinking, inclusion and gender.
The course was created by A Partner in Education (APIE) in collaboration with Rwanda Basic Education Board (REB), Aegis Trust and the school leadership and teachers of Umubano Academy, with funding from the British and Foreign Schools Society (BFSS). It will be implemented in the schools in the refugee camps in Rwanda by APIE in partnership with World Vision Rwanda.

It contains units related to the Peace and Values Education cross-cutting issues in the Competence Based Curriculum (CBC) including practical teaching tools related to behaviour management, social skills, growth mindset, critical thinking, inclusion and gender.
